iRecord® is not your typical consumer electronics product built using off
the shelf technology where marketing and unit cost typically trump
engineering excellence. We have over 60 engineers on staff many with
PhDs, and most have been working together for over five years. We are
recognized leaders in audio and video compression, real-time systems,
and communications. We design the hardware and we write the codec's,
firmware and software to extract every bit of performance from it. We
have been in business since 2000 and have numerous patents granted and
pending.
You may not have heard of Streaming Networks, because historically our
focus was developing technology for some of the world’s largest
companies. We are passionate about video quality and saw an opportunity
to use our technology to make a family of easy to use devices that give
consumers control over how when and where they enjoy their media.
